The Georgia Tech Military Affinity Group (GTMAG) promotes and facilitates the engagement of military affiliated faculty, staff, alumni, friends and students.

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Membership in the organization is open to any persons interested in the mission of GTMAG such as staff, alumni, friends and students with military affiliation which includes - but is not limited to - active, retired, guard, reserve, those with any military service time, or DoD civilians from all branches of the military (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard) and Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC).

OBJECTIVES

• Assist current Georgia Tech ROTC Departments with recruiting, retention and the development of programs
• Facilitate both professional and social networking of cadets/midshipmen, alumni, faculty, as well as through the creation of new programs that provide professional development and networking opportunities
• Assist in the preservation of military history on the Georgia Tech campus, and in the recognition of cadets, midshipment, faculty, staff, alumni and friends
• Provide support and encouragement activities for active duty alumni personnel
• Champion Roll Call participation among military affiliated faculty, staff, alumni, friends, and students
